I grew up in the land of farmers, cows, and corn where the girls became nurses and the boys became... well, what else, farmers. Except this girl. Her head was constantly in the clouds and dreamed of something bigger. Like most, Paris and London were always on the list, but then Bucharest and Helsinki got added, because of other interests and before long an agenda was born.

Inspired by A Map For Saturday, a documentary shot by Brook Silva-Braga, I started to put together my own trip. College took a backseat as I started to read more travelogs and before I knew it I was graduating and joining the work force, leaving all expectations made by my classmates, best friends, family members, and teachers behind.
